At GROW! 2026 we’ll tour Complete Landsculpture as part of the event, and as always Vince and I have a bit of a preview into what attendees will see onsite as we work to plan the event.
Gene Freeman and Chris Strempeck hosted GROW! 2015 at their facility, and now a decade later we’re bringing our event back because while a lot has changed at Complete Landsculpture over that time there’s still one big constant: they’re a well-run operation that any landscaping company in America can learn from.
There will be some things done differently this time that we’re excited to unveil, all of it designed to give attendees more time to learn from the Complete Landsculpture team members who do the work every day.
Have you seen the work that this team does? It’s no wonder they’ve won so many national and state awards.
Gene and Chris are relationship people, and they’re both active members of their community who spend time networking intentionally to meet more people they could do business with. They capture great photos and videos of their completed work, and have a strategy for submitting properties for awards all to ensure they can publicize their work, create awareness, and share example photos with prospects.
Much of their work comes from word of mouth and their reputation, which leads me to my next point:
When we’re at GROW! 2026, we’ll see how they handle the sales to production handoff to ensure their operations team has the details they need to exceed their clients’ expectations. They pay attention to craftsmanship on both residential and commercial properties, and are known locally for their high-end touches and attention to detail.
They have great relationships with their suppliers, which allows them to better serve their clients. When we were visiting, Gene talked about how one supplier, whose property neighbors their facility, was willing to occasionally open up on a weekend when they got into a bind.
It underscored the importance of relationships: having go-to suppliers who you have strong relationships with can be the difference between being able to meet a tight deadline or save the day and having to go a client with a delay or a change order.
There’s so much more we’ll cover and learn when we’re onsite with their team, and we’re extra excited that this year’s VIP event will take our VIPs to see a Complete Landsculpture property in co-owner Chris Strempeck's home. Complete with a resort-style pool that their team designed and installed (and won a Gold Award from the NALP Awards of Excellence for), attendees will be able to see their craftsmanship firsthand while enjoying additional networking time, food, and drinks with the Complete team and event speakers.
Are you registered to join us in Dallas, TX on February 10-12 yet? If not, go check out our agenda and get your ticket now. Last year tickets sold out and we had to turn landscape pros away, don’t get locked out this year!
We'll talk to you next week.
